Photocards Generator
THE OVERVIEW
Socialcards was built as an end-to-end social media card workspace where teams can move from content discovery to final export without leaving the product. It combines live RSS news streams, URL-based generation, multi-template editing, and localized/Bangla-ready output for creator and newsroom workflows.
THE CHALLENGE
The hardest engineering challenge was maintaining speed and consistency while merging diverse feed sources, metadata extraction, and multiple generator routes. We solved this with parallel feed fetching, de-duplication by link/title, source balancing, cache/revalidation windows, and guarded premium-access flows across the dashboard.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Delivered a unified creator workflow across 12+ card types, improved recency and variety of news cards with regional RSS aggregation, reduced repeated work through auto-filled generation flows, and strengthened monetization UX through reliable plan-based gating and upgrade prompts.
