THE OVERVIEW
Civix was designed as a practical citizen-facing transparency platform where reporting, legal awareness, and emergency access coexist in one mobile experience. Instead of a static complaint form, the app combines visual evidence flows, geospatial discovery, and clear status-oriented report detail views so civic participation feels immediate and actionable.
THE CHALLENGE
A key product challenge was unifying many civic workflows in one clean mobile UX: map exploration, multilingual content, media-heavy reporting, legal education, and emergency access. We solved this through a modular Expo Router structure, reusable UI primitives, lightweight state patterns, and clear step-by-step navigation that keeps each flow focused while remaining connected.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Delivered an end-to-end reporting journey (category to verification to success ID), implemented interactive regional analytics with division/district drill-down, launched searchable law and emergency modules, and established a bilingual design system that keeps Bengali and English parity across major screens.
